Professor Lars H. Lindholm is a specialist in General Practice and Public Health, and Senior Professor at Umeå University. He is an internationally recognized researcher in hypertension and cardiovascular disease, with more than 400 scientific publications in leading medical journals, including The Lancet. He has served as a visiting advisor for The Lancet for more than 20 years and has regularly participated in the journal’s peer-review meetings.
He has worked in several prominent international roles, including President of the International Society of Hypertension, and has received Umeå University’s Gold Medal for Merit and Excellence for his contributions to medical research and education.
